Privacy Policy — Way of the Hunter 2 Wiki

The short version

This site has no user accounts, no comment system, no newsletter and no login of any kind. It cannot collect your name, your email address, or anything you type into it, because there is nowhere to type. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as it takes to answer you.

What the site itself stores

The site is a set of static files. Pages are delivered from a content delivery network. The site itself does not run a database and does not write visitor data to disk.

Advertising

Pages on this site may carry third-party advertising. Those ads are served by third-party advertising networks, not by this site, and this site does not control what they collect. Third-party ad networks may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser to serve and measure ads, including to build an interest profile. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies, which you should read if you want to know what is collected. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser settings or through the options pages offered by the networks themselves.

Note that advertising and analytics identifiers are set by the ad network, not by this site; blocking cookies or using an ad blocker reduces what is measured.

Analytics

Aggregate, non-identifying traffic measurement may be used to see which guides are read and which pages are broken. This is limited to page views, referrer information and coarse region and device categories. We do not profile individual visitors, we do not build cross-site profiles, and we do not sell or share data about individual readers.

Cookies

Cookies set here come from third parties rather than from this site, chiefly advertising and analytics providers. This site sets no functional or tracking cookies of its own.

Links to other sites

Guides link to official sources such as the developer's site, store listings and patch notes, and to community resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices and this policy does not cover them. Once you follow an external link, their policy applies.

Children

This site is a video game reference site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Questions about privacy can go to [email protected]. This policy covers Way of the Hunter 2 Wiki only; it says nothing about Nine Rocks Games, THQ Nordic, or any third party whose tools appear on the site.
